Assistant Engineer / Service Technician

Job Title: Assistant Engineer / Service Technician - Chemical Water Treatment Business

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine service visits to customer sites, assess system conditions, replenish chemicals, and adjust dosages as needed.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot water treatment equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Install or replace basic water treatment equipment, such as chemical dosing pumps and tanks.
• Collect routine water samples for analysis and dispatch to internal or external laboratories.
• Perform simple on-site water tests using field test kits to ensure water quality.
• Assist external contractors with chemical flushing and equipment installation tasks.
• Handle occasional chemical deliveries as required.

Job Requirements:

• NITEC (NTC) or ITE certification, or a diploma.
• Possession of a valid Class 3 driving license (company van provided).
• Willingness to work on weekends or public holidays when necessary.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, as the role involves some physical demands.
