Work location: Jurong West
Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8.30am-6pm

Our Client

The company is a leading local processor and distributor of chilled and frozen pork products, supplying to supermarkets, restaurants, caterers, and wet markets. The company operates from a certified facility with a strong focus on food safety, hygiene, and quality standards, and is committed to reliable service and long-term growth in the food supply industry.

They are currently looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Production Demand Planner to join their team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations in production scheduling, order fulfilment, and inventory management to maximise productivity and yield.

The Production Demand Planner will also need to analyse trends, provide meaning insights and generate accurate performance reports.

Key Responsibilities

Forecasting & Planning: Predict demand using historical data and market trends to adjust production plans
Inventory Management: Maintain optimal stock levels and ensure timely material procurement
Resource Allocation: Maximise productivity by efficiently using manpower, equipment, and materials
Continuous Improvement: Enhance SOPs to boost efficiency and reduce waste
Reporting: Present data on production specs, quality, and standards
Safety & Health: Enforce safety and hygiene compliance
Quality Control: Ensure product standards and resolve quality issues
Collaboration: Coordinate with departments to streamline production

Requirements

Possess Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or any related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Skilled in operating automated manufacturing equipment
Clear and effective communicator
Experience in food processing and food safety will be an added advantage
Proficient in production planning and ERP systems
