Math Tutor
About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Math Tutor to join our team, located in the Bukit Timah Central Region. As a fulltime Math Tutor, you will play a crucial role in supporting and empowering students to excel in their mathematical studies.
What you'll be doing- Providing engaging and interactive math lessons to students of varying age groups and skill levels
- Collaborating with parents and teachers to monitor student progress and identify areas for improvement
- Utilizing a range of teaching methodologies and resources to foster a love for mathematics
- Actively participating in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching practices and curriculum changes
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mathematics or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience as a Math Tutor, preferably working with students in a classroom setting
- Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex mathematical concepts into easily understandable terms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of all ages
- A passion for education and a genuine desire to help students succeed
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively
