Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and responsible Preschool Chinese Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The candidate will plan and deliver engaging Chinese language lessons, nurture children’s interest in Mandarin, and support their holistic development in a safe, caring, and positive learning environment.

我们正在招聘一名有爱心、有责任感的 幼儿园华文教师。教师将负责设计并开展适合幼儿年龄阶段的华文课程，通过故事、儿歌、游戏、主题活动和日常互动，培养孩子对华文学习的兴趣，并协助孩子在语言、社交、情绪和生活习惯方面全面发展。

• Plan and conduct age-appropriate Chinese language lessons for preschool children.
• Create a warm, engaging and interactive classroom environment.
• Use songs, stories, games, art, cultural activities and play-based learning to support Mandarin learning.
• Observe and document children’s learning progress and development.
• Prepare teaching materials, classroom displays and activity plans.
• Work closely with English teachers and other team members to support children’s daily routines and learning needs.
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding children’s progress and well-being.
• Ensure children’s safety, hygiene and emotional well-being at all times.
• Support school events, celebrations, excursions and parent engagement activities.
• Follow centre policies, ECDA guidelines and curriculum requirements.

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Teaching Chinese / DECCE-T Chinese, or equivalent qualification recognised by ECDA.
• ECDA L1 / L2 certification preferred.
• LON certification will be an advantage.
• Good command of spoken and written Mandarin.
• Able to communicate in basic English for workplace coordination.
• Passionate about working with young children.
• Patient, caring, responsible and positive.
• Good classroom management and communication skills.
• Prior preschool teaching experience is preferred, but fresh graduates with relevant qualifications may apply.

• Loves working with children aged 18 months to 6 years old.
• Able to create fun and meaningful Chinese language learning experiences.
• Team player with strong responsibility and professional attitude.
• Comfortable working in a childcare / preschool environment.
• Able to build good relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
