SERVICE TECHNICIAN - EQUIPMENT - WAREHOUSE HANDLING EQUIPMENT

WORKING LOCATION : TUAS & CLASS 3 DRIVING LICENSE REQUIRED

Responsibilities:

• Servicing and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment, including carrying out pre-delivery inspection, testing, installation, commissioning, repairs, and servicing works at both company premises and customer sites.
• Skilled in performing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and troubleshooting for various equipment and machinery.
• Familiar with preventive maintenance, technical support, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently and safely to meet customer requirements.

Requirements:

• Nitec / others and with some technical working experience
• Possess a valid class 3 driving license

SERVICE ENGINEER - EQUIPMENT - SCIENTIFIC / LAB EQUIPMENT / INSTRUMENTS

WORKING LOCATION : PANDAN LOOP (CLEMENTI) & CLASS 3 DRIVING LICENSE REQUIRED

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repair services on a variety of laboratory and scientific equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, and implement appropriate corrective actions
• Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements
• Maintain detailed records of all service activities and equipment performance
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations
• Provide training and support to customers on the proper use of equipment
• Collaborate with the wider team to continuously improve service delivery

Requirements:

• Relevant technical certification or diploma in a scientific or engineering discipline
• Ideally with 1-3 years of experience in a similar service engineer or technician role, preferably within the laboratory or scientific equipment industry or entry level also welcomes to apply
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
• Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
• Proficiency in using computer-based maintenance management systems and diagnostic tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and equipment
• Possess a valid class 3 driving license
