Kitchen Assistant

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Robertson Quay. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the successful operation of our busy kitchen and support our talented team of chefs.

1. Assisting with food preparation, including washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients
2. Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
3. Ensuring all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and stored
4. Supporting the chef team with various tasks as needed
5. Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards

1. Previous experience in a similar kitchen or food preparation role is preferred
2. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently
3. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
4. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
5. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
