We are seeking an experienced Surgical Vet Nurse to join our Client's team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and extensive experience in surgical nursing, providing high-quality support to veterinarians during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians during surgical procedures
Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
Monitor patients vital signs during surgery
Administer anesthesia and medications as instructed by the veterinarian
Provide post-operative care and support to animals
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Educate pet owners on post-surgical care and recovery
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the clinic

Skills and Qualifications

6-16 years of experience in veterinary nursing or a related field
Certification as a veterinary technician or nurse
Strong understanding of surgical procedures and protocols
Proficiency in administering anesthesia and monitoring patients
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Compassionate and empathetic approach to animal care
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
