About the role
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to oversee the operations of our production facility in Jurong West. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring our products are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing- Developing and implementing operational and manpower strategies to meet business and organizational goals.
- Managing and supervising a cross functional team from production to engineering, providing leadership and coaching to drive continuous improvement
- Analyzing production data and maintenance activities to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost savings
- Ensuring compliance with all health, safety and quality assurance regulations
- Collaborating with other departments to align manufacturing activities with the overall business objectives
- Driving initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency and product quality
- Reporting on key manufacturing performance metrics to senior management
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a manufacturing management role, preferably within the food production industry
- Strong working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to think strategically
- Proficient in data analysis and using technology to drive operational improvements
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills to build and motivate collaboration between cross functional teams
- Degree in Engineering, Operations Management or a related field
