Business Development Executive

Join our dynamic team as a Business Development Executive!

We are seeking a driven Business Development Executive to join our team and contribute to the company's expansion in the local and regional precious metals market. In this role, you will proactively source high-value scrap materials containing Platinum Group Metals (PGM), gold and silver and build lasting client relationships to drive profitable growth.

• Identify and secure sources of precious metal-containing scrap from businesses, industrial clients and individuals across Singapore and the region.
• Evaluate purchasing decisions to ensure all transactions are profitable.
• Prepare customised proposals, quotations and contracts aligned with current precious metal valuations and client specifications.
• Monitor market trends and stay informed of changes affecting precious metal pricing and demand.
• Assess business performance by identifying strengths, driving operational improvements, uncovering new opportunities and mitigating potential risks.
• Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with clients to expand account value and foster repeat business.
• Track and document trade transactions to ensure timely delivery of metals and prompt payment collection.
• Partner with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility and generate high-quality leads.
• Update the CRM system weekly with supplier details, business leads, and follow-up statuses to maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

• Good communication skills, spoken and written in English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Persistent, outgoing personality with room to grow—gain hands-on experience in market analysis, negotiations and regional sourcing.
• Open to traveling within the region.
• Driving license is a bonus.
