Assistant Vice President/Vice President, Health Care Operations

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of OUE Healthcare Group, this role will work closely with business unit heads and various stakeholders, to drive operational excellence and business growth, as well as, ensure corporate governance of the group's business units across Asia.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Due to your deep understanding of the relevant business unit’s operations and governance structure, you will be a key reference point to guide team members in these business units.
- You will be involved in relevant operational committees and unit based/head office meetings to maintain oversight of the respective unit’s business operations, progress, initiatives, and strategies.
- You will proactively be involved in change management as it relates to business operations including and not limited to business development, service delivery, organizational structure and administrative flow processes and systems.
- You will initiate, evaluate, monitor, and report on improvement opportunities related to efficiency and effectiveness of systems and processes.
- You will play your part in building and creating a cohesive and communicative culture within the OUEH team and business units.
- You will work closely with and assist team members and relevant stakeholders in head office and business units.
- You will develop reports quarterly and as required to demonstrate the key focus areas and progress and achievements.
- You will support the assessment, strategy development and planning associated with new business initiatives and other strategic efforts.
- You will work closely with relevant stakeholders and functional teams on Business Development/M&A activity, supporting project implementation/execution.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or Operations Management.
- Relevant qualification in a health-related field will be an advantage.
- At least eight years of experience in healthcare; work related to healthcare operations management.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to be able to communicate with business units in China to effectively deliver responsibilities related to business operations in China.
- Experience in working in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to network and foster relationships through interacting with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willing to travel and ability to accommodate flexible travel schedules.
