JOB OVERVIEW

As a Logistics Supervisor, you will be overseeing and managing the logistics and supply chain operations for our calibration services. This role will be hands-on position and ensure we are complying to the industry standards and regulatory requirements in Singapore.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Logistics Coordination:

• Plan and coordinate daily logistics activities, including delivery and collection of calibration equipment.
• Schedule and supervise drivers and logistics personnel.
• Monitor transportation to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Manage any urgent collection/delivery (local & overseas) as requested by clients
• Book in instruments into company ERP system if required.

Inventory and Warehouse Management:

• Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of instruments and tools.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
• Ensure proper handling and storage to prevent damage or loss.
• Book in and prepare shipment for local and overseas collection/delivery.

Documentation & Compliance:

• Ensure all logistics documentation (delivery orders, service reports, calibration certificates) are complete and properly filed.
• Comply with ISO/IEC 17025 standards and relevant safety regulations.
• Coordinate with QA/QC to ensure traceability and documentation for audits.

External and Internal Liaison:

• Communicate with external (customers and vendors) and internal (sales team) regarding logistics schedules and updates.
• Resolve logistics issues and delays promptly to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for streamlining logistics operations.
• Implement cost-saving and efficiency-enhancing initiatives.
• Maintain updated knowledge of customs and transport regulations in Singapore.

• Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the calibration, metrology, or precision engineering sector.
• Strong understanding of logistics operations and warehouse management.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 standards is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics management software (e.g., SAP, Atlas).
• Ability to work independently and manage a team.
