Credit Control Officer/ Executive

We are looking for a Credit Control Officer / Executive to manage customer accounts and ensure timely payments at our automotive dealership. Candidates with more experience will be considered for the Executive role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively monitor customer accounts and engage with them to ensure consistent and timely payments.
• Implement recovery actions in line with internal guidelines to follow up with customers on overdue payments, maintaining professionalism and tact in all communications.
• Ensure customers adhere to contract terms by conducting regular reviews and promptly enforcing agreed-upon terms when necessary.
• Act as a primary point of contact for customer queries and requests, providing timely and accurate responses to maintain positive relationships.
• Provide administrative support for documentation and archiving related to credit control activities, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth credit control operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments as and when required.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in tracking AR receipts.
• Proficiency in MS Excel is required.
• Prior experience in credit control and collections is a plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of Hire Purchase law is an added advantage.
• Salary/designation will be commensurate with experience.
• Candidate with relevant experience will be considered for Executive position.
