Our client is an established player in the Real Estate industry, currently hiring a driven, nurturing and technically competent talent with relevant industry exposure to oversee the full spectrum of Finance responsibilities including SGX reporting, consolidation, operational management, budgeting, business partnership, M&A, Tax and compliance.
Budget
SGD 14,500 - 16,000 per month + Bonus
Requirements- Chartered Accountant, Degree in Accounting from NTU, NUS, SMU or established universities
- Stable and progressive career history, more than 12 years of relevant work experience in the commercial sector
- Must: Strong experience from SGX listed environment (technical competencies in SGX reporting and group consolidation)
- Advantageous to have Real Estate industry experience
- Prior Big 4 background can be a plus
- Proven track record in team management - forward-looking, patient, mature to guide and elevate your team
- Personality traits: Motivated, always learning and keeping yourself up to date, able to articulate your experience well, share how you create value-add and take initiatives to drive improvements, has good learning agility
- Good communication skills, confident to speak with executive team
Job Scope
As the Finance Director reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and managing a team, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial and accounting management, including SGX reporting, financial and management reporting, accounting operations, FP&A, budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, audit, tax, and compliance.
You are well-versed in SGX listing requirements and will ensure all statutory requirements are met. As a Finance subject matter expert, you will work closely with the Audit Committee, Board of Directors, and Senior Executive team to address key financial and strategic matters.You will be responsible for identifying tax-saving opportunities, optimizing corporate structures, recommending efficient fund flow mechanisms, and managing global tax efficiency. You will track tax developments, assess business impacts, and proactively highlight implications.
You will also evaluate and enhance finance processes and workflows, improve data accuracy and closing timelines, and develop robust financial controls and governance frameworks.
In addition, you will act as a strategic business partner to drive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals and budgets. You will support potential M&A, joint venture, investment, and tax optimization initiatives, including both pre- and post-integration phases.
