Electrical Technician (Power Systems)
Brief Summary:Join our dynamic team as a Technician specializing in Power Systems, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and installing essential components while ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced systems and technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Execute job assignments while using and maintaining various service tools effectively.
- Install electrical switches, sensors, transducers, and control panels as well as alternator components.
- Follow provided drawings for engine wiring installations.
- Disassemble and assemble engine components, including oil pumps and water pumps.
- Adjust engine valve lash as required.
- Assist with mechanical tasks, such as installing radiator assemblies, couplings, and gearbox assemblies.
- Conduct alignment works for radiator assembly, engine, and alternator installations.
- Prepare generators for load testing and perform safety device tests.
- Connect ET tools to engines for diagnostics and record relevant data.
- Troubleshoot engines and generators to resolve issues efficiently.
- Perform general servicing on engines and alternators.
- Familiarity with Hydraulic Starting Systems and control panel testing is advantageous.
- Basic IT knowledge and familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers is a plus.
Requirements:
- Possession of an ITE certification or equivalent qualification.
- At least 5 years of relevant hands-on experience, particularly in electrical tasks.
- Demonstrated electrical hands-on experience is essential.
