Trade Operations Specialist

• Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Trade Operations Specialist to support cross-border trade activities, ensure trade compliance, manage trade documentation, and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors. This role offers strong exposure to international trade, trade systems, and process improvement, with training and development opportunities.

• Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, trade documentation providers, and insurers
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely delivery of trade documents
• Analyze trade data to identify trends, efficiency improvements, and cost savings
• Act as a liaison between logistics, finance, legal, and vendors
• Serve as business owner for Trade Systems, ensuring performance and reliability
• Work with IT and operations teams on system enhancements and improvements
• Maintain system governance, user access, and data integrity
• Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Support trade compliance, documentation accuracy, and operational processes
• Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields
• 2–5 years of experience in trade, import/export, or compliance is an advantage
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Knowledge of customs regulations, Incoterms, HS codes, and trade documentation
• Familiar with trade finance instruments (e.g., LC, B/L)
• Interest or experience in trade digitalisation and automation
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
