A Construction Supervisor

• They inspect work quality, schedule tasks, and act as the key liaison between project managers and field staff.

• Site Management: Direct daily operations, including material deliveries and equipment usage.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) and conduct regular site inspections.
• Project Scheduling: Plan and coordinate construction phases to meet project deadlines.
• Quality Control: Inspect work-in-progress to ensure it meets technical specifications and building codes.
• Coordination & Communication: Liaise between subcontractors, engineers, architects, and project managers.
• Resource Management: Supervise, train, and assign tasks to workers, as well as manage on-site material logistics.

• Experience: Proven experience as a construction supervisor, foreman, or similar role.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, drawings, and plans.
• Leadership: Strong team management, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Education: High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management is often preferred.

• Environment: Works on construction sites, often in various weather conditions.
• Requirements: Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and may travel to multiple sites.
