Technical Sales Executive/Sales Engineer

Our client, a Japanese manufacturing company specializing in small electric motors and motion control systems, seeks a Technical Sales Executive/Sales Engineer.

Reporting to: Sales Manager

• Grow and manage existing customer accounts while identifying opportunities for expansion
• Attend to sales enquiries, provide sales support, and handle site-related matters
• Conduct regular customer visits to understand requirements and present products and technical solutions
• Showcase product features and technical information to customers
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships through active follow-up and regular visits
• Gather market trends and competitor information to support sales strategies
• Conduct market research and monitor business environment, trends, and sales performance
• Increase product and brand awareness in the market
• Plan and implement marketing and sales strategies
• Identify potential opportunities and develop solution-based selling approaches
• Arrange customer appointments and conduct frequent customer visits
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

• Variable Bonus (depending on the company and individual performance)
• Annual leave: 12 days (prorated for the first year, additional 1 day after 3 years, and up to 20 days)
• Medical leave: 14 days
• Transportation Allowance: Reimbursement basis from home to office and vice versa
• Medical Allowance: Up to S$70/time
• Car Allowance: S$500 with petrol card (Candidates with personal car only, otherwise, will be using MRT/Bus)

【 Requirements & Preferences 】

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Inexperienced electrical engineer who has a strong interest in a sales position are welcome!
• 2-3 years of Sales engineer or front-facing engineering experience within the Factory Automation, Engineering (Especially Motors-related), Electrical, or similar.
• Excellent communication in English and Mandarin to liaise with English and Mandarin-speaking customers
• Willingness to develop strong product and technical knowledge

• Possess a Class 3 or 3A car license or a personal car preferred for sales activity in Singapore
• Experience working in a Japanese company
• The ability to join on short notice would be advantageous!
