Job Details
Position: Receptionist / Administrative AssistantEmployment Type: Full-Time
Location: 9 Purvis Street, Singapore 188588 (5 min from Bugis MRT)
Start Date: Immediate / Upon availability
Working Hours- Monday to Thursday: 11:30 AM – 9:30 PM (1-hour break)
- Friday: 12:30 PM – 9:30 PM (1-hour break)
- Saturday & Sunday: Off
Total: 44 hours/week
Compensation & Benefits
Salary- S$2,800 per month during 3-month probation
- S$3,000 per month upon confirmation
- Annual Leave: 12 days (Year 1), 13 days (Year 2), 14 days (Year 3 and thereafter)
- Sick Leave: As per Employment Act — 14 days outpatient, 11 Gazetted Public Holidays per year as per MOM regulations
- Compulsory insurance coverage as required under MOM regulations
- CPF contributions as per statutory requirements
- During probation: 1 week
- After confirmation: 2 months
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Customer Experience- Be the warm, professional first point of contact for all students, parents, and visitors
- Deliver bilingual customer service when required (English and Mandarin) to support Mandarin-speaking customers.
- Respond to enquiries via phone, WhatsApp, and email promptly and helpfully
- Provide clear information about class schedules, packages, and academy policies
- Manage class bookings and studio schedules
- Process student registrations and maintain accurate records
- Record attendance and assist with trial class bookings
- Follow up on customer enquiries and support the enrollment process
- Maintain organised administrative records and office systems
- Monitor and replenish studio supplies
- Handle mail, deliveries, and vendor coordination
- Keep notice boards and studio information up to date
- Process customer payments and maintain accurate transaction records
- Track invoices and payment records in the system
- Assist with basic bookkeeping documentation and expense claims
- Assist with updates to the academy’s website and social media platforms
- Ensure schedules and announcements are communicated clearly to students
- Support promotional activities and studio events
Requirements
Technical Skills- Comfortable using Mac computers / macOS
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Docs, Drive, Gmail, Calendar)
- Basic experience with scheduling systems or administrative software
- Familiarity with social media platforms is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, professional, and genuinely customer-oriented attitude
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Independent, reliable, and proactive — someone who takes ownership
- Minimum Diploma qualification
- At least 1 year of experience in receptionist, administrative, or customer service roles
- Experience in education, wellness, fitness, or arts industry is an advantage
- Good command of English (spoken and written)
- Proficiency in Mandarin is valued as it enables service to our Mandarin-speaking clientele
