Manager / Senior Manager / Director

Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan invites passionate and capable individuals to join our Secretariat as Director / Senior Manager / Manager.

Depending on experience and seniority, the successful candidate will take on leadership, managerial, or executive responsibilities in supporting the organisation’s governance, operations, and programmes.

• Provide comprehensive secretarial and organisational support to the Board of Directors, including meeting coordination, preparation of papers and minutes, and follow-up on action items.
• Support the implementation of Board decisions and ensure effective communication and coordination across committees.
• Draft speeches, messages, and official correspondence in both English and Chinese for the Board and leadership.
• Assist in the planning and execution of programmes, events, and initiatives organised by the association.
• Support the overall administration and coordination of the Secretariat to ensure smooth and effective operations.
• Depending on appointment level, lead or supervise Secretariat staff and oversee operational planning and programme delivery.

• Degree from a recognised institution.
• Extensive and relevant working experience, preferably in organisational management, administration, or related fields.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese, with good written and spoken communication skills in both languages.
• Ability to speak and understand Teochew dialect will be an advantage.
• Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
