Toa Payoh - Associate Director, Fund Services

Our client, a well-established fund services provider, is looking to hire an Associate Director for the Hedge Fund Services team in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth reviews of documentation and communications for designated client portfolios, exhibiting comprehensive knowledge of pertinent issues and full compliance with established protocols.
• Contribute to the development, deployment, and monitoring of internal controls and operational frameworks, while assessing risks and assigning appropriate priorities.
• Establish subject matter expertise in selected domains, mentor team members through knowledge dissemination and training initiatives
• Pursue cross-selling prospects in collaboration with the business development team.
• Serve as the primary client account manager/point of contact, and independently coordinate with other vendors and offshore legal firms.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of relevant fund services experience i.e. Fund Administration, Fund Accounting, etc
• Substantial client service experience with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in reviewing fund governing documentation and financial statements
• Familiarity with Cayman Islands laws and regulations relevant to funds and entities, i.e. the Economic Substance Act, Mutual Funds Act, Private Funds Act, AML Regulations, FATCA, and CRS etc
