Operations Manager (Air Freight) - Bukit Batok

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Air Freight department, including import, export, and warehouse activities.
- Ensure operational excellence and compliance with customs regulations and company procedures.
- Prepare quotations for local and overseas offices/agents, supporting the sales and operations team when needed.
- Negotiate competitive rates with co-loaders, carriers, and vendors.
- Monitor and evaluate vendor performance, driving continuous improvements.
- Troubleshoot operational issues promptly and provide effective solutions.
- Ensure timely invoicing of shipments and closure of job files within the specified timeline.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements in operational processes and procedures.
- Coordinate with local and overseas offices/agents on shipment damages or operational issues.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or professional certification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields.
- At least 12 years of experience in air freight operations, with a strong background in both import and export handling.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing multiple departments.
- Solid knowledge of international shipping rules, Incoterms, and customs regulations.
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with TradeNet systems.
