About the role
As a Construction Supervisor at SINGAPORE JINGGONG STEEL STRUCTURE PTE.LTD', you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the construction activities on-site. This full-time position is based in the Tuas West Region of Singapore, where you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of various construction projects.
What you'll be doing- Supervising and managing construction crews to ensure adherence to project schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards
- Coordinating the activities of various trade workers, such as carpenters, masons, and electricians, to ensure efficient workflow and timely project delivery
- Monitoring and inspecting construction progress to identify and address any issues or deviations from plans
- Communicating with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide progress updates and address any concerns
- Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and company policies
- Providing guidance and training to construction workers to improve their skills and productivity
- Maintaining accurate records of project activities, labour, and material usage
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction industry
- Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges on-site
- Strong leadership and team management abilities to effectively coordinate and motivate construction crews
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members
- Knowledge of relevant construction regulations, safety standards, and quality control procedures
