Job Description

Job Summary:

This role involves managing day-to-day network operations, resolving issues, implementing network solutions, and supporting project deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability
• Maintain and improve network security using Palo Alto, Fortinet, and other NGFW platforms
• Support installation and maintenance of CISCO networking gear
• Work with internal teams and external vendors to plan and deploy new network services and solutions
• Perform regular patching, firmware updates, and configuration backups
• Conduct root cause analysis for major incidents and implement preventive measures
• Create and maintain network documentation including topology diagrams and change records
• Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery planning
• Provide Level 2/3 support for network issues and escalations

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 35 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking environments
• CCNA certification is required; CCNP is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing (OSPF, BGP), switching (VLANs, STP), and firewall policies
• Experience with at least two of the following: Palo Alto, Fortinet
• Knowledge of VPN technologies, network segmentation, and ACLs
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark)
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
• Willingness to support after-hours or weekend maintenance windows as needed
• Experience with SD-WAN, MPLS, and cloud networking (Azure/AWS)
• Exposure to ITIL framework and ticketing systems (ServiceNow, JIRA)
