Climate & Sustainability (Analyst / Senior Analyst)

Key Responsibilities:

Project & Team Management:

• Participate and lead juniors in end-to-end ESG consulting engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables and alignment with client objectives.
• Initiate open conversations with teams, clients, and stakeholders to build trust and foster collaboration.
• Conduct market research, data analysis, and benchmarking exercises to develop impactful sustainability solutions.

Business Development & Thought Leadership:

• Assist in proposals development for client engagements and participate in pitch meetings.
• Conduct capacity-building workshops, briefings, and seminars to facilitate knowledge transfer to clients and internal teams.

Technical Expertise & Innovation:

• Advise clients on sustainability and ESG-related strategies, policies, and frameworks, including ESG risk management, climate change strategies, and sustainability reporting.
• Analyse strategic, operational, risk, and financial implications of sustainability trends and translate these into commercial impacts for clients.
• Leverage expertise in ESG strategy, Life Cycle Assessment, climate risk modelling, sustainable finance, and/or sustainability reporting to provide tailored solutions for clients.
• Utilise digital tools, analytics, and technology to enhance ESG data management and reporting.

Key Requirements:

Experience & Skills:

• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in sustainability and ESG consulting or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience in advising clients on ESG strategies, sustainability reporting (e.g., GRI, TCFD, SASB), and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to successfully deliver consulting projects.
• Strong work ethic, project management skills, and independent problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior executives and diverse stakeholders.

Educational Background:

• Strong academic qualifications in finance, engineering, environmental science or a related discipline.
• Additional certifications such as CFA ESG Investing, GRI Certified Sustainability Professional, are a plus.
