Warehouse Assistant

Role Summary

Dashmesh Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented individual to join our operations team as a Warehouse Assistant. The primary function of this role is to support the seamless flow of inventory, from receiving and storage to order fulfilment and dispatch, while maintaining rigorous standards of accuracy and organization.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Inventory Management & Processing:

• Execute core warehouse activities, including the accurate receiving, picking, packing, and loading of merchandise.
• Verify all incoming and outgoing product quantities against documentation to ensure accuracy of transactions.
• Assist in the physical movement and transport of merchandise within the facility, utilizing appropriate manual or mechanical aids.
• Log inventory movements (inbound and outbound) into the designated warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Conduct periodic cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory counts to maintain accurate stock records.
• Assist in coordinating product returns and inter-store transfers as required.

Order Fulfilments & Dispatch:

• Package and label merchandise securely to fulfil customer orders according to established standards.
• Assist the delivery team by physically loading goods onto trucks for dispatch.
• Serve as a delivery attendant or driver assistant as and when necessary.

Safety & Maintenance:

• Maintain high standards of warehouse housekeeping and cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Organize and store inventory in the designated stockroom locations to maintain operational efficiency and safety protocols.
• Ensure strict compliance with all company safety regulations and procedures.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend basic English for documentation purposes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets (basic data entry and tracking).
• Familiarity with or the ability to quickly learn Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively and manage competing priorities.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as an effective team member.

Physical & Medical Requirements:

• Must be medically fit and physically strong to handle manual lifting and prolonged standing/walking as required by warehouse operations.
• Compliance with all mandatory warehouse and safety regulations is required.

Work Timings:

Monday to Friday: 08.30 am to 6.00 pm.

Work after 6.00 pm will be on overtime pay.

Saturday: 08.00am, all working hours will be on overtime pay
