HR Generalist - Leading Investment Management Firm

Newly created role Global Investment Management Firm Reporting into Head of HR Our client, a fast-growing Global Investment Management Firm, is looking to hire an experienced HR Generalist to support their APAC offices. This newly created position, based in Singapore, presents an exciting opportunity to help shape and enhance HR operations across the region within a dynamic and high-performing environment.
Responsibilities As a key member of the regional HR team, you will play a broad generalist role with both operational and advisory responsibilities. Acting as the primary HR point of contact for employees across APAC, you will work closely with regional managers and the global HR team.
Your scope will include managing payroll and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with local employment and tax regulations, and maintaining accurate employee records in Workday. You will also oversee key administrative functions such as onboarding, visa processing, employee relocations, and coordination with recruitment and office management teams.
A hands-on, detail-oriented mindset will be essential for success in this role. Requirements You are degree qualified with over 7 years of HR experience across the APAC region. You have strong expertise in regional payroll, including year-end tax filings, and have managed multi-national benefits programs.
A solid understanding of APAC employment laws and employer/employee tax regulations is essential. Proficiency in systems such as Workday and ActivPayroll is a strong advantage. You are a collaborative, resourceful team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
