Production Operator

About the role

As a Production Operator at Sumitomo Bakelite Singapore Pte Ltd, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing process within the North Region. This full-time position is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of production equipment and machinery, ensuring high quality products are delivered to our customers.

1. Operate various production equipment and machinery to manufacture products according to standard operating procedures
2. Monitor production processes and troubleshoot any issues that may arise, taking corrective actions as needed
3. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks on production equipment to ensure optimal performance
4. Adhere to all health, safety and environmental regulations to maintain a safe working environment
5. Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency
6. Accurately document production data and maintain detailed records

1. Previous experience as a Production Operator or in a similar manufacturing role
2. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment
3. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
4. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
5. Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety
6. Good communication and teamwork skills
