Team Lead (Machining/ Manufacturing)

Job Description:
- In charge of leading and coaching a team of manufacturing engineers to support daily operations in programming, tooling, process routing, and secondary processes
- Responsible in monitoring production performance to ensure monthly efficiency targets and optimal utilization of machinists and machines are achieved.

- In charge of leading and guiding the team in completing Lean Six Sigma projects to improve manufacturing processes.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for any non-conforming jobs and resolve issues collaboratively as a team.
- In charge of maintaining and updating the CAD plant layout as required.
- Actively explore new manufacturing approaches, tooling, and technologies to enhance organizational capabilities; lead and manage CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) initiatives for required equipment purchases.
- Actively participate in and contribute to HSE initiatives, including hazard/incident identification, risk assessment, and determination of control measures.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Min Diploma in Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Industrial/ Precision Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Precision Machining
- Experience in creating manufacturing routings using an ERP system
- Proficiency in CAD (2D/3D) software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc. (essential).
