We are looking for a dedicated Safety Coordinator to join our team and ensure that all project activities are carried out in compliance with company regulations and statutory requirements. This role is critical in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, supporting both site operations and overall organizational safety standards.?
What You’ll Do- Ensure project works are conducted in accordance with company regulations, rules, and procedures.
- Oversee and verify that Permit-to-Work, Method Statements, and Job Safety Analyses are understood and implemented by site supervisors and workers.
- Identify unsafe conditions or acts, recommend corrective measures, and implement practical solutions.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety measures are consistently applied.
- Collaborate closely with safety officers and personnel to maintain compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate and organized safety and health records.
- Follow up on all safety-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Assist in implementing requirements of the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and related statutory legislations.
- Review, suggest, and implement improvements to enhance workflow and safety practices.
- Take responsibility for site matters, including safety and other operational concerns.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by superiors.
Profiles we are looking for:
- Candidate must possess relevant certificates (E.g: Advanced Certificate in WSH Safety Coordinators Training Course)
- Good understanding and knowledge on WSH Act & other legal requirements
- Familiar with ISO9K, ISO14k, OHSAS18K/ISO45K will be advantageous
- Good interpersonal skills and working attitude
- Candidates with experience in M&E Industry is an added advantage
