Senior Industrial Engineer (Automotive)

Our client is a leading international product leader in the automotive industry. With a global presence in over 80 countries worldwide, they are rapidly expanding as they advance into the dynamic landscape of the automotive industry. Their Singapore office and manufacturing plant has been established for more than 25 years and they are now seeking a qualified Senior Industrial Engineer to join their team!
Work location: Ang Mo Kio
Job Responsibilities:
- Support manufacturing with layout design, WSI, routing, and process/material flow optimization.
- Lead productivity, cost-reduction, and LEAN improvement initiatives.
- Conduct cost estimation for new product opportunities.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, standards, and work instructions.
- Collaborate with product teams to implement resource-optimizing solutions.
- Perform time and motion studies and identify process bottlenecks.
- Plan and set up new manufacturing lines; support new model start-ups and ECOs.
- Track CAPEX spending and supervise work groups as needed.
- Execute Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to enhance process efficiency.
Requirements:
- At least 8 – 10 years’ Industrial Engineer experience, in manufacturing companies
- Strong project management skills
- Education qualification in any Engineering field or equivalent
