The successful candidate will support strategic procurement initiatives and ensure all processes are compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, RFI/RFQ/RFP/tender exercises, evaluation, negotiations, and award of subcontractor agreements, in compliance with internal policies and governance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review and validate Purchase Requisitions and convert approved Purchase Requisitions to Purchase Orders ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Perform pricing analysis and drive cost optimization through competitive negotiations with vendors and service providers.
- Ensure accurate 3-way matching of PO, Delivery Orders, and Invoices within TenderBoard or other procurement systems before payment processing.
- Oversee supplier lifecycle management including onboarding, performance tracking, dispute resolution, and ensuring compliance with contract terms.
- Provide guidance to suppliers on invoice submission and self-registration processes within procurement platforms such as TenderBoard.
- Contribute to procurement strategy development and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and compliance.
- Support or lead procurement-related projects or ad hoc assignments as required.
Requirements:
- Min Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- 5 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in Facilities Management, Environmental Services, or the Healthcare sector.
- Demonstrated experience in supplier management, sourcing strategy, and contract administration.
- Strong knowledge of procurement policies, internal controls, and relevant statutory requirements.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in documentation and system processes.
- Resourceful, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience with procurement platforms such as NetSuite and TenderBoard
