About the role

We are seeking a talented and driven Business Development Manager to join our team at The French Farm Co Pte Ltd. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and expanding our customer base across the Singapore HORECA and food service sector.

You will play a key strategic role in identifying and securing new partnership opportunities to help us achieve our ambitious growth objectives.

What you'll be doing

Developing and executing effective sales and marketing strategies to generate new business leads and convert them into long-term customers
Conducting market research to identify and assess potential new business opportunities that align with our company's offerings and growth plans
Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospective clients through proactive networking, cold-calling, and other business development activities
Negotiating and closing new sales contracts while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
Collaborating cross-functionally with our marketing, operations, and leadership teams to support the successful onboarding of new clients
Tracking and reporting on key sales metrics to measure the performance and effectiveness of your initiatives

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of demonstrated success in a business development or new sales role, preferably within the Foodservice/HORECA industry
Proven ability to identify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities through a consultative, solution-oriented approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients at all levels
Excellent negotiation, contract management, and client relationship management skills
Familiarity with the new business development landscape and an understanding of the Foodservice/HORECA market
Self-motivated, resilient, and driven to succeed in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment
Strong existing customer network to leverage on
