We are looking for a committed Assistant Manager to join our front-of-house team and contribute to a dining experience that is refined, grounded, and quietly memorable.
Job Title: Assistant Manager (Service Team)
The Assitant Manager plays a key role working in the front-of-house team to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality service. Working closely with the Outlet Manager (OM), you’ll help with daily operations on the floor and ensure every guest enjoys a thoughtful and memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Financial Stewardship- Support the Outlet Manager in raising the bar for service, systems, and food quality.
- Drive cost control through smart scheduling, inventory management, and responsible labour allocation.
- Monitor daily sales, track key performance indicators, and ensure reporting accuracy.
- Oversee proper cash handling and payment protocols.
- Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure a clean, well-prepared, and welcoming environment.
- Assist cross-outlet operations when needed.
- Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and report faults promptly.
- Lead service operations with focus, composure, and clarity.
- Uphold Nozomi’s service standards through coaching, floor supervision, and direct guest engagement.
- Equip the team to speak confidently about the menu, sake, and beverage offerings.
- Handle guest feedback and service recovery with empathy and urgency.
- Consolidate guest insights for the Director, Outlet Manager, and Chef.
- Maintain high hygiene standards across the outlet.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team on initiatives to drive traffic and engagement.
- Help foster a high-performing, accountable, and growth-minded team culture.
- Train and mentor both new hires and existing team members to ensure consistency and confidence.
- Prepare and manage staff schedules that balance operational efficiency with team well-being.
- Approve leave, monitor team performance, and raise HR concerns where necessary.
- Take on additional responsibilities or projects as assigned by the Outlet or Operations Manager.

- The Star Vista (next to Buona Vista MRT)
- Breaks: 2 hours (Weekdays), 1.5 hours (Sat/Sun/PH)
- Millenia Walk (above Promenade MRT)
- Breaks: 1.5 hours (All days)
The Offer:
- Salary: $3,200 – $3,800/month
- Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
- Schedule: 5-day work week, Day shifts between 10:30am – 9:30/10:00pm

Qualifications and Competencies:
- F&B experience (at least 1 year supervisory experience preferred)
- WSQ Food Safety Level 1
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, POS ordering systems, and delivery platform tools.
- Comfortable managing service teams and engaging with guests.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and proactive.
- Clear and confident communicator
- Able to work independently while contributing to a larger team.
- Well-groomed with a strong sense of personal presentation.
