Senior Manager, Strategic Planning & Governance (2 Year)

Job Responsibilities
Corporate Governance- Ensure compliance with applicable governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and organisational policies.
- Review and enhance corporate policies, procedures, and governance practices to ensure continued relevance and effectiveness.
- Provide secretariat support for senior leadership and board-level meetings, including coordination of agendas, documentation, and follow-up actions.
- Monitor governance-related developments and recommend improvements to strengthen organisational oversight and accountability.
- Analyse data, trends, and organisational insights to identify strategic priorities, emerging opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Facilitate strategic planning exercises, management retreats, workshops, and cross-functional discussions to support organisational development.
- Lead annual planning and workplan alignment exercises to ensure business objectives and operational priorities are aligned with strategic goals.
- Prepare strategic papers, presentations, business cases, and reports for senior management and key decision-makers.
- Support the development and implementation of long-term organisational strategies and initiatives.
- Develop and implement knowledge management frameworks, processes, and best practices to support organisational learning and continuous improvement.
- Establish systems and processes to capture, organise, and share institutional knowledge across the organisation.
- Promote knowledge-sharing initiatives and drive adoption of best practices across teams.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience in strategic planning, corporate governance, organisational development, policy development, or related functions.
- Experience in facilitating management retreats, workshops, strategic planning sessions, or organisational development initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and translate insights into practical recommendations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across different functions.
- Experience within social services, public sector, non-profit organisations, charities, community sectors, or related environments will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and knowledge management practices will be an advantage.
