Job Summary
Manage full sets of accounts and deliver comprehensive bookkeeping and accounting services to clients. Ensure timely reporting, prepare tax returns, and liaise with auditors and tax authorities to support client compliance and financial accuracy.
Responsibilities- Manage full sets of accounts for multiple clients to ensure accurate financial records
- Perform regular bookkeeping and accounting services to maintain up-to-date financial data
- Provide professional client service by meeting reporting deadlines and addressing client needs
- Set up charts of accounts for new clients to establish organized financial tracking
- Record receipts and payments accurately using accounting software to maintain transaction integrity
- Prepare GST reports and file returns in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Liaise with auditors and draft financial statements to support audit processes
- Prepare and submit XBRL filings to meet statutory reporting standards
- Compute yearly payroll and prepare year-end remuneration returns such as AIS for compliance
- Coordinate with banks to open and close client bank accounts as required
- Prepare corporate and individual tax returns, including estimated chargeable income and withholding tax filings
- Assist clients in responding to tax authority queries to resolve compliance issues
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned to support business operations and client needs
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience handling full sets of accounts preferred
- Experience managing multiple entities’ accounts and consolidation preferred
- Prior work experience in professional accounting firms preferred
- Progress towards or attainment of Accounting Professional Certificates such as ACCA or CPA advantageous
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with a serious work attitude
- Detail-oriented and committed to delivering excellent customer service
