Position Overview:
The HSE Coordinator, Data Analytics, Office & Travel Safety plays a critical role in advancing the company’s overall Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) maturity by leveraging data, optimizing systems, and providing strategic leadership in both construction and cultural safety.This multifaceted position combines technical expertise, operational insight, and leadership capability to foster a culture of safety excellence across all corporate environments.
In this role, the HSE Coordinator is responsible for collecting, managing, and analyzing diverse safety data sets to identify trends, predict risks, and support informed decision-making at all levels of the organization. They lead the development and integration of HSE databases and reporting tools, ensuring data accuracy, transparency, and accessibility across teams and sites.
As the primary point of contact for office safety, the role ensures that workplace environments meet or exceed regulatory and company standards, promoting employee well-being, preparedness, and ergonomic safety. The HSE Lead will also oversee and implement emergency response procedures, office inspections, safety drills, and compliance tracking for all administrative and operational office locations.
Additionally, this role is responsible for managing the company’s travel safety and security program. This includes conducting pre-travel risk assessments, issuing travel advisories, tracking employee movement in higher-risk areas, and coordinating emergency response plans for traveling personnel.Working in partnership with corporate security, human resources, and travel services, the HSE Lead ensures that all travel is conducted with appropriate risk controls and support mechanisms in place. The position reports to the Site Manager and the Head HSSE.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analytics & Reporting- Develop, manage, and continuously improve HSE data systems and performance dashboards.
- Conduct trend analysis, predictive risk assessments, and performance benchmarking.
- Support incident investigation processes with data-driven insights and root cause analytics.
- Compile and deliver routine and ad hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders. Database & Systems Management
- Maintain accurate and secure HSE databases, including incidents, audits, and training records.
- Collaborate with IT and HSE teams to optimize and integrate safety information systems.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with applicable regulatory and company standards.
- Design and standardize HSE policies, procedures, and workflows across all departments.
- Continuously evaluate and improve documentation to align with best practices and legal requirements.
- Facilitate internal reviews and cross-functional input to enhance procedural quality.
- Serve as the Office Safety Lead, ensuring regulatory compliance and risk control in office environments.
- Conduct office safety assessments, inspections, and emergency preparedness planning.
- Lead initiatives include fire drills, first aid training, ergonomic evaluations, and evacuation procedures.
- Promote a proactive office safety culture through training, signage, and leadership engagement.
- Develop and implement travel safety and security protocols for employees and contractors.
- Coordinate pre-travel risk assessments and briefing materials for high-risk destinations.
- Monitor global and regional travel advisories, health alerts, and security threats.
- Maintain emergency contact procedures, travel tracking systems, and traveler support protocols.
- Liaise with travel services, security teams, and insurers to ensure appropriate travel risk management.
- Limited Travel to office sites in (Europe, Asia) to support setup of office HSE programs and local coordinators.
Qualifications:
- Related trainings and certifications in technical field desired. Associate’s degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Security Studies, or related field. will be preferred.
- 5+ years of HSE experience, including at least 2 years in data analytics and/or travel risk management.
- Proficiency in HSE data tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and management systems (e.g., Intelex, Enablon, SAP EHS).
- Familiarity with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Strong understanding of global travel risk and emergency response protocols.
- NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent certification (preferred).
- Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Must be self-motivated and directed.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing using the English language.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret procedures or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports and procedures.
- Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
- Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions.
