Our client is a leading Infrastructure Fund investing across energy, transport, digital, and sustainable assets. With a strong regional and global presence, the Fund partners with institutional investors and portfolio companies to drive long-term growth, operational excellence, and value creation.

Role Overview

The HR Director will lead the Fund’s overall human capital strategy, working closely with the leadership team and portfolio executives. This individual will be responsible for setting the people agenda across the Fund, designing best-in-class HR frameworks, and ensuring alignment of talent, culture, and governance with investment objectives.

The ideal candidate is a senior HR leader with experience in private equity, infrastructure funds, or financial services, who can balance strategic vision with pragmatic execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the HR strategy for the Fund and provide oversight for portfolio company HR practices.
  • Partner with the COO, Managing Partners, and senior investors on organizational design, leadership effectiveness, and succession planning.
  • Establish HR as a key enabler of value creation across investments.
  • Build leadership pipelines within the Fund and support senior talent acquisition at portfolio companies.
  • Design and implement leadership development, mentoring, and coaching programs.
  • Shape and reinforce a high-performance, values-driven culture across fund management and portfolio organizations.
  • Ensure HR policies, processes, and practices meet global and local regulatory standards.
  • Lead HR due diligence during acquisitions and establish post-deal HR integration frameworks.
  • Provide oversight of HR governance across portfolio companies, balancing investor requirements with local market practices.
  • Serve as trusted advisor to senior leadership, including investment professionals and portfolio management teams.
  • Act as the bridge between investors, partners, and management on all human capital matters.
  • Represent HR strategy to the board, investors, and other key stakeholders when required.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 15+ years of HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years at Director/Head of HR level in investment management, infrastructure, private equity, or financial services.
  • Strong track record in organizational design, executive compensation, and leadership development.
  • Experience managing HR frameworks across multiple geographies and portfolio companies.
  • Deep understanding of HR’s role in value creation within an investment/portfolio context.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive influencing skills.
