Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced QA Lead based in Singapore to take ownership of the testing strategy, planning, and execution for all our products, including games, backend systems, and internal platforms. This is a hands-on role where you will define processes, implement testing coverage, and work closely with engineering, design, and product teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement QA processes and best practices for all products, including functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
- Create and maintain test cases, plans, and documentation for both frontend (games/platform) and backend/API testing.
- Coordinate testing activities across multiple platforms such as mobile, WebGL, desktop, and backend services.
- Log, track, and validate defects in collaboration with development teams using tools like Jira.
- Lead manual QA efforts; support or guide the introduction of automated testing where applicable.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), live deployment checks, and certification testing (for regulated platforms like iGaming).
- Provide regular QA reports and status updates to stakeholders.
- Mentor junior QA testers or manage external QA resources as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a QA or testing role within the gaming industry.
- Strong understanding of game development lifecycles and QA methodologies.
- Experience with iGaming products or regulatory environments is a bonus.
- Technical background with the ability to test backend systems, APIs, and databases.
- Proficiency in tools like Jira, TestRail, Postman, Charles Proxy, or equivalent.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and coordinate testing across multiple teams.
- Knowledge of scripting or test automation (e.g., Python, Selenium) is a plus.
