Teacher (Biology)

We are seeking a passionate Biology teacher who is committed to nurturing student-athletes into motivated, inquisitive and values-driven learners. You will be responsible for teaching, mentoring and supporting student-athletes, and contributing to curriculum design, pedagogy and assessment. This includes:

• delivering engaging, student-centred lessons;
• creating a positive and empowering learning environment;
• supervising laboratory work and research projects with strong emphasis on safety and rigour;
• designing varied assessments; monitoring progress and providing timely feedback;
• supporting pastoral care and socio-emotional development through strong relationships built on trust and respect.

• Professional teaching qualification (e.g. PGDE from NIE or equivalent)
• Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience in a secondary or pre-university setting
• Experience preparing students for GCE O-Level, IB Diploma or GCE A-Level
• Degree in Biology or a related discipline
• Passion for continuous learning and inspiring young learners
• Interest in sports is an advantage
