About the role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admin cum Purchasing professional to join our team at Hock Soon Lee Furniture Industries Pte Ltd, located in the East Region. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial administrative and purchasing role, supporting the smooth operations of our furniture manufacturing business.
What you'll be doing- Handling a wide range of administrative duties, including data entry, filing, correspondence, and general office management tasks
- Assisting with the purchasing process, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, placing orders, and tracking inventory
- Liaising with internal departments and external vendors to ensure timely and efficient procurement of materials and supplies
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all purchasing activities
- Providing administrative support to the management team as needed
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative or purchasing role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in using office software, such as Microsoft Office suite
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset
