Job Summary:

The role of an Associate Engineer (Telecommunications) responsible for end-to-end 4G/LTE network rollout, optimization, maintenance, and customer support, including site survey, design, commissioning, troubleshooting, and contractor coordination.

Job Descriptions :

• Network Rollout & Engineering
• Conduct site surveys and site design for 4G/LTE deployment
• Perform testing, commissioning, drive test, and network optimization
• Ensure network meets KPI and grade of service standards
• Manage in-building design projects
• Operations & Maintenance
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain 4G/LTE network
• Handle technical trials and service implementations
• Attend to customer complaints (TETRA, LTE, GRIDTalk, etc.)
• Ensure service reliability and performance
• Project Management
• Prepare project schedules and track milestones
• Monitor engineering activities to meet deadlines
• Prepare progress reports and documentation
• Ensure spares/inventory availability
• Tender & Commercial Support
• Review tender documents and raise technical concerns
• Prepare design and costing proposals
• Liaise with customers on technical and costing matters
• Vendor & Contractor Management
• Source equipment and materials
• Evaluate quotations, negotiate with suppliers/contractors
• Monitor contractor performance and timelines
• Operational Support
• Provide 24/7 standby support for faults and major events
• Perform site standby duties
• Work in rooftop, tunnels, construction sites, and harsh environments

Job Requirements :

• Diploma/Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in LTE/4G mobile network maintenance
• Strong knowledge of RF, radio access technologies, and antenna systems
• Experience in site rollout, commissioning, and network optimization
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Acrobat)
• Possess Singapore Class 3 driving license
• Willing to work overtime and standby duties
• Comfortable working in rooftops, tunnels, construction sites, and harsh environments
