Finance Business Partner | GOVT

Location: Pasir Panjang

• Working Hours: 8.30am – 6.00pm (Monday to Thursday), 8.30am – 5.30pm (Friday)
• Salary: Up to $9975
• Start Date: Immediate
• Duration: 12-month contract

• Partner with divisions and project managers to analyse financial performance and provide insights for decision-making.
• Lead cost optimization, efficiency projects, and process improvements to enhance operational performance.
• Support month/year-end closing activities, prepare financial reports, and administer budget allocations and virements.
• Perform variance analysis, operational metric analysis, and business case evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and government policies for revenue/expense accruals and grant recovery documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams on purchase order management, asset transfers, and budget administration, providing guidance and advice to users.
• Engage in system enhancements and process improvement initiatives, including UAT activities.
• Support other FBPs within the team and assist with strategic analysis projects as needed.

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or relevant professional qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience, including business partnering or commercial analysis, with a preference for technology company experience.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and supporting business decision-making.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong analytical mindset.
• Self-motivated, adaptable team player who thrives in fast-paced environments.
• Meticulous and able to handle large volumes of data while managing hands-on tasks.

• Workday experience (essential for financial reporting and budget management).
• Experience with dashboard and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar) for business insights and reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Power Pivot, Power Query, and financial modeling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for stakeholder presentations.
• Programming knowledge in Python and/or SQL for data analysis and automation is advantageous.
