Hardware Senior Engineer

DENSO Wave Singapore Pte Ltd focuses on engineering design on products such as data capturing, industrial controller and industrial robots.

We are looking for a Hardware Senior Engineer to join our Research & Development team, contributing to the design and innovation of data capture devices, industrial controllers, and robots. If you’re passionate about research and development, this is the role for you!

• Responsible for development of electronics hardware for industrial controller products
• Engage in development activities including design/implementation of circuits, troubleshooting of designs, conducting validation/compliance tests, and creation of design/product documentation
• To manage existing products with quality improvement, feature enhancement, cost optimization, customization etc
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to define technical requirements and scope project deliverables

• Experience designing electrical circuits and printed circuit boards for hardware systems with expertise in analog design (using components such as DACs, ADCs, Power Management circuit (including isolated power supply), Digital Input/Output circuit design
• Demonstrated skills in the hardware development process, including circuit simulation & design, component de-rating, hardware debug & release
• Experience with electronic hardware design tools such as schematic capture (Mentor Graphics or similar), PCB design, timing analysis, and signal integrity
• Demonstrated skills in of EMC/EMI noise prevention/reduction techniques
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Work with supplier(s) to discuss requirements, testing method, identification of issues and resolutions
• Experience in Industrial Products design and development and/or Product Certification will have an added advantage
• Experience in embedded design with microcontroller/ASIC/FPGA will have an added advantage

• Minimum 7 years of experience in related role for Hardware development
• Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related qualifications
