Toa Payoh - Electrical Project Manager

Our esteemed client in the Engineering Industry is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Electrical Project Manager
• Location: Kaki Bukit
• Working Hours: 5.25 days (Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm; Alternate Saturday, 9am to 1pm)
• Salary Package: Up to $8,500 + Incentives + Variable Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the full cycle of electrical construction projects, from planning to execution and final delivery.
• Support the Director in defining project scope, objectives, and technical requirements related to electrical systems.
• Develop comprehensive project plans detailing schedules, budget forecasts, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager to monitor progress against key milestones.
• Coordinate daily activities, resolve on-site challenges, and ensure smooth workflow across all project phases.
• Supervise subcontractors, site supervisors, and workforce performance.
• Ensure all site activities comply with relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct safety assessments and proactively address potential hazards to maintain a secure work environment.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders (including clients, internal teams, and senior leadership) on project progress, risks, and achievements.
• Identify project risks early and implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays or quality issues.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure prompt resolution of technical or execution-related challenges.
• Prepare and maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.

Job Requirements:

• Holds a Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering and site execution.
• Solid knowledge of electrical systems, relevant codes, and regulatory standards.
• Experienced with LV switchgear, distribution boards, cable containment systems, cable sizing, lighting fixtures, and interpreting single-line diagrams.
• Skilled in using project management tools for planning and tracking.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for electrical design and layout drafting.
