Technical Sales Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment / SEA regions)

Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned customer accounts as the primary point of contact, building strong relationships to drive customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, executing account strategies to achieve sales growth and market share objectives
  • Understand customer technical requirements and deliver tailored semiconductor equipment solutions, including Front-end and Back-end high precision machine/vacuum technologies.
  • Prepare and present technical proposals, specifications, and solutions, supporting both pre-sales and post-sales activities
  • Bridging between customers and internal teams (engineering, product, service) to ensure alignment on requirements, customization, and delivery
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, emerging technologies, and opportunities for product positioning
  • Develop and implement marketing and business plans, including pricing strategies, quotation preparation, and contract negotiation
  • Support product launches through creation of marketing materials such as brochures, demos, and presentations
  • Maintain accurate account records, including customer interactions, forecasts, and action plans
  • Monitor sales performance, manage order follow-ups and receivables, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field)
  • 2–4 years of experience in semiconductor equipment sales, application engineering, or technical support
  • Knowledge of semiconductor processes and machinery such as Etching, Deposition, Diffusion machine, machine vision, Die AOI, Die Sorter, or Wafer Sorter
  • Strong ability to manage customer relationships, expectations, and negotiations across multiple stakeholders
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills
  • Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to travel frequently
