NoSQL Data Engineer - Toa Payoh

We are looking for a data pipeline and data lake engineer who can use off the shelf or open-source technologies to support our data platform development and serve up structured and unstructured data in an sources in an accessible, scalable, repeatable and secure manner.

• Support the design, build, and maintenance of data pipelines to ensure seamless integration and flow of data from multiple systems across a variety of frequencies and fidelities
• Prepare, clean, and transform data for analytics and reporting purposes
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes
• Identify and follow through on opportunities for improvements and optimisation
• Test data system configurations to increase efficiency
• Support the handling and logging of errors
• Monitor data system performance

The ideal candidate will be passionate not only about data, but also about improving technology that can be leveraged for the more efficient use of data.

1. Build, scalable and reliable development ETL pipelines to ingest data from a variety of source for Data Science / AI use
2. Experience in SQL, NoSQL Python, data preparation, ETL Processes, data pipeline and data lake management.
3. Experience with cloud collaboration tools (e.g O365, Atlassian) and development tools (e.g AWS, Azure)

1. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
2. Three (3) to seven (7) years’ experience in developing, implementing and maintaining data pipelines, architecture, and data sets, and deploying pipelines and codes in production.
3. Proficient in Python with experience in scripting (other scripting languages are acceptable).
4. Strong SQL skills using Informatica/Teradata and SQL server databases.
