Lead Design Engineer (Electrical)

1. To Work as lead Engineer for Oil & Gas Project
2. Leading a Team of Electrical Engineers in Preparation & Review of Load lists, Single Line diagram of PCC, PMCC, MCC, DB's, Equipment Sizing Calculation, System Study through ETAP (Version 19.1) and Preparation & Review of Layouts like Hazardous Area classification, Lighting Layout, Cable and Power Layout, Substation Equipment layout, Earthing & Lightning protection Layout.
3. Interface Management with Lead Engineers, Client, Contractors, Vendors, Government Agencies and Certification agencies
4. Preparation, Monitoring and Control Engineering Document Control List and expedite for delay/ approvals/resolution of open issues
5. Review and Ensures that all works are carried out in accordance with project specification. Maintain Design integrity and quality within the Project Engineering Team
6. Preparing Engineering schedule and Engineering man hours estimation to meet project requirements.
7. Preparation of Material Requisition, Specifications, Technical Bid Evaluation for Electrical works.
8. Preparation and Compliance for Engineering Audit Requirements.
9. Job assignments, Mentoring and Supervision of works for Designers and Design Engineers.
10. Technical assistance to construction activities and attending to Site Queries.
11. Reviewing Vendor Drawings for Transformers, Switchgears, Cables, Distribution Boards, Junction Box, LCS, Motors etc.
12. FEED & Pre-Bid works which involves Feasibility study & MTO estimation works.
13. Coordination with PMC / QP and Construction Coordination.
14. Participates in discipline and inter-discipline design check and screening meetings for compatibility, completeness and correctness in works
15. Inspecting various equipment like LV & MV Bus duct, LV & MV Switchgear, Cables, Transformer, AC / DC UPS
16. Field Engineering Support Activities to complete the task in accordance with the project schedule.
17. To be proactive in creating a safe working environment for everyone and ensuring that HSE in-house rules are observed at all times.
18. To consider HSE aspects when planning and carrying out tasks to eliminate and reduce HSE hazards, aspects and risks.

Experience : Preferably Minimum 15 years of experience
