Senior Design Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Technical & Design Department (Engineering, Design, Drafting).
- Act as the highest technical authority across all projects.
- Oversee design development from tender stage through to project completion.
- Review and approve design concepts, calculations, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, codes, and client specifications.
- Drive constructability, value engineering, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Resolve complex technical and interdisciplinary issues.
- Coordinate with Operations, Project Management, QA/QC, HSE, and Commercial teams.
- Represent the company in technical discussions with clients, consultants, and authorities.
- Provide technical support on contracts, variations, claims, and dispute resolution.
- Promote innovation, standardization, and continuous improvement
- Final approval of all technical and design deliverables.
- Authority to revise or reject non-compliant or high-risk designs.
- Recommend the appointment of external consultants and specialists.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural or related discipline), recognized by the PE Board.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
