Facilities Management Manager - Toa Payoh

Responsibilities

Plans, controls and directs facilities management activities such as site location and acquisition, right-of-way negotiation, building and land acquisition and disposition, space leasing, property management and maintenance of properties, including all labs and offices outside of manufacturing locations.

Ensures the optimal utilization of the organization's facilities and controls real estate activities including identification and acquisition of land and buildings for the Company's operations. May develop plans, policies, principles and procedures that support business strategies, business priorities, and allocation of resources.

• Applies specialized professional knowledge about theoretical concepts and principles within own field; is a sought after thought partner.
• Acts as advisor to unit or sub-units and may become actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems.
• Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate the business/processes in the market.
• Guides and prioritizes the activities of individual contributors accountable for similar responsibilities and performing moderately diverse activities.
• Works independently and receives minimal guidance; contributes to and executes business, functional or product strategies.
• Impact of work reflects directly on the overall team for quality of process execution and responsiveness to business needs.
• Operates with latitude for action and decision-making; uses judgment to make decisions that affect own area of responsibility within the business/function.
• Solves technical or operational problems (with or without vague/unstructured aspects); takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Has more than 8 years of facilities management experience for India and Singapore offices.
