Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Engineer (MES) – Pharma & Medical Device to join their team!

• System Design and Deployment: Design, configure, and deploy MES in pharmaceutical manufacturing plants, ensuring seamless integration with other enterprise systems.
• Process Optimization: Develop and maintain electronic batch records, recipes, workflows, and electronic logbooks to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Create insightful reports, dashboards, and visualizations to provide valuable insights into manufacturing performance.
• Technical Support and Training: Provide expert technical support and training to end-users, empowering them to maximize system capabilities.
• Quality Assurance: Support qualification and validation activities, including authoring and executing test scripts to maintain compliance standards.
• Troubleshooting: Collaborate with IT and manufacturing teams to resolve MES system issues promptly and effectively.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the MES system and related processes, driving operational excellence.
• Documentation Management: Maintain up-to-date system documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all stakeholders.

• Educational Background: Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field are encouraged to apply.
• Industry Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry. Candidates with no prior experience are welcomed to apply for a Junior role, particularly if you have relevant internship experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
• Technical Expertise: 2 years experience with one or more Manufacturing Execution Systems (e.g., Syncade, PAS-X, OpCenter EX Pharma) and data management technologies is highly valued.
• System Integration: Familiarity with integrating MES with other systems such as ERP, DCS, and Historians is beneficial.
• Database Management: Working knowledge of database management is essential for success in this role.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment in the biopharmaceutical industry is a plus.
• IT Skills: Experience in supporting installation, administration, and troubleshooting of computer systems and servers is advantageous.
• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms is desirable but not mandatory.
• Data Visualization: Knowledge of reporting and data visualization tools will be beneficial.
• Regulatory Awareness: Understanding of computerized system requirements in the pharmaceutical industry (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11) and industry best practices is highly valued.

• Working Day: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
• Location: West, Tuas
• Salary: $6000 - $9000
